The Belmar Woman's Club (BWC) was founded in 1914 and federated in 1915.  The club focuses on meeting the needs of others and offering its members venues for personal growth.

The club addresses the needs of the community by fundraising to award scholarships to local high school students who reside in Belmar and Lake Como to further their Education. As well as the ability for high school young ladies to experience career opportunities.

The New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs (NJSFWC), the parent organization for the Belmar Woman’s Club, which is the largest women’s club in the state of New Jersey, presents women with the opportunities to expand their horizons through individual growth and by working together towards common goals.  The Belmar Woman’s Club is also a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, one of the oldest women’s clubs, which was instrumental in giving women a voice.

A COLLECT FOR CLUB WOMEN

                                By Mary Stewart

Keep us, oh God, from pettiness:

Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed.

Let us be done with faultfinding and leave off self-seeking.

May we put away all pretenses and meet each other face to face,

Without self-pity and without prejudice.

May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous.

Let us take time for all things: make us to grow calm, serene and gentle.

Grant that we may realize it is the little things that create differences;

That in the big things of life, we are at one.

And may we strive to touch and to know the great common human heart of us all.

And O, Lord God! Let us forget not, to be kind.

Come be part of something extraordinary at the Belmar Woman's Club.

Through our guest speaker program, we provide informational and educational knowledge on a variety of subjects to which the public is invited.

We are committed to empowering and inspiring growth and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve, and each other.

Our Vision

Over the past few years, the Belmar Woman's Club has experienced remarkable growth, expanding from just 17 members to an inspiring 68. We are truly delighted to welcome so many women into our community, united in our mission to give back. Our collective efforts continue to support local scholarships, provide essential food to food banks, and ensure the well-being of seniors and other members of the community. This growth and shared commitment create a win-win for all, as we work together to strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.
